OBJECTIVE:
OHCRA is proud to introduce a dedicated Unlimited Canoe Race Series as part of the pre-season racing calendar, offering a competitive platform for this growing division of the sport. This 4-race series is designed to encourage participation, innovation, and high-level competition among clubs utilizing Unlimited Canoes.
OVERVIEW:
The proposed Unlimited Canoe Race Series Will
Utilize existing pre-season races.
Use cumulative times to calculate winners
Example Calculation:
Crew A: 1:30:00 | 1:30:00 | 1:30:00 | 2:00:00 → Total: 6:30:00
Crew B: 1:15:00 | 1:15:00 | 1:45:00 | 1:50:00 → Total: 6:05:00🏆 Crew B wins the series.
RACE FORMAT:
Divisions: Men, Women and Mix
Crews must be sponsored by a club.
Crews do not have to have the same paddlers race to race, but need to enter under the same crew name to accumulate time.
Missed race will disqualify crew from potential race series award.
Host clubs will determine the course for each pre-season race.
