Here at the Oahu Hawaiian Canoe Racing Association (OHCRA), we are deeply committed to the higher education and future success of our paddling ohana. We recognize that unlike many other sports where participation and talent can easily translate into traditional collegiate athletic scholarships, outrigger canoe paddling is often not the case.
Because our sport doesn't always have those same collegiate funding pathways, it is especially important to us to support our athletes as they pursue their academic goals. We are incredibly proud to give back to the paddlers who give so much of their time, energy, and heart to the ocean and to their clubs.
